Challenge Yourself Today!

Challenge yourself today and everyday

Say Hey you will not play with your fears today

You are your biggest competition

Let your fears and haters be omissions

No goal to small or insignificant

And no goal to insurmountable that they can't be done

Make yourself accountable for getting your goals are number one

Make sure when you going after your dreams you try to make it fun

Look for something positive in each moment of each day

Even if one day maybe harder than the last no that this too shall pass

Say something nice to yourself even if nobody else does

It will take time and effort, blood, sweat and tears

But it will make you stronger to conquer your fears

The power of your persistence will get you there

So challenge yourself today to get from here to where you dreams are

No matter long or how Far!

How to Develop Self Confidence

Sometimes, life gets rough as we face different painful situations and we may find ourselves stuck on our down moments. These are the times where you can lose your self confidence and question whether you made the right decision. We are torn down however we don't need to be in that situation a long time. We need to get back on track, pick the pieces and move on. This indicates a need to get self confidence back, to keep moving forward and to build a better self image.

We can make our friends our role models and model how they carry themselves after a tragedy. Some of our friends recover their self confidence right after experiencing something painful. Ever wonder how they do that? They are still standing because they believe in themselves that they can be successful again.

When you believe in yourself, you recover your self confidence so that you are ready to achieve your goal. As they say, you will not recognize success unless you meet failure. You can use self confidence in any areas of your life like relationships, business, success, love and career It is a great way to rebuild your self image in these areas.

Here are some ways to get self confidence:

Posture: You need to have the right posture, when you stand or sit. This promotes a positive outlook in life. Practice good posture so you can tell yourself that you can do whatever is required to be successful. It will put you in the right mindset that you can accomplish your plans.

Positivity: Always think positive, even when you are in a difficult situation. You can gain self esteem by thinking that you can pass this test. We face many problems each day and this can make us angry, frustrated and embarrassed however, thinking positive can drive all those negative feelings away.

Avoid negativity: When you avoid negativity, you can clear your mind of obstacles and this will provide great solutions to your problems. You can have self belief when you avoid being around negative people. Additionally, avoid hearing criticism, rumors and rejections by avoiding the people who love to talk about these.

When you achieve self confidence, you will be able to create great solutions to your daily problems. It can be as simple as deciding whether to wear closed shoes or not. Decisions are one of the things that a person is afraid to make when they don't believe in themselves. Believe in yourself and you can achieve your goals.

The Power Of Praise

A proverbial pat-on-the-back is one of the most powerful motivators we can experience. It's no shame to desire approval. As William James said, "The deepest principle in human nature is the craving to be appreciated." It imparts energy and unlocks discretionary effort, as well as reinforces desirable behaviors. However, not all praise is of equally high quality, and not all has the same effect. If you want your praise to be a powerful tool to motivate your team and steer their behavior, you should consider the following points:

 * Mean it: If your praise isn't sincere, it won't work. People are not stupid, and they can spot an insincere attempt to manipulate them a mile away. Say what you mean and mean what you say.

 * Praise, don't flatter: Praise focuses in what someone did, their choices, their character, and their abilities - things which they control. Flattery simply congratulates someone on that which they have no control over and did nothing to earn. "You have great hair" or "You really suit that color" may be nice to hear, but it isn't a measured analysis of someones ability. Praise is different: "Your report was thorough and contained some really good insights" is praise based on someones achievements.

 * Try a little tenderness: Instead of criticizing behavior you want to see corrected in your staff, praise that which is done right. Positive reinforcement is so much more energizing than negative reproaches. For example, instead of complaining to a staff member that they have been late turning in a report, be emphatic in your appreciation when they get it turned in early.

 * Get personal: The word 'you' isn't offensive or dangerous. You are allowed to use it, and you should. "You really came through with a great idea to save the team a lot of time there, thanks" beats the slightly dismissive-sounding "good job" any day.

 * Always look for opportunities to praise: It's so easy to be wrapped up in our own work, needs and tasks, especially given how busy we all are these days. This means making a conscious effort to identify others' achievements and progress and give praise accordingly. If you struggle to remember to do so, then you may find it easier to set aside a specific time, maybe just before the end of your workday. Think back through the day's events and acknowledge work well done.

 * Think about your recipient: Private or public? People aren't all the same, and comments made in public, for example in a staff meeting or in an informal setting such as an open-plan office can be very motivating to some, whereas one on one comments about a job well done can be preferable for less outgoing people.

 * Give praise without caveats: When you give praise as a precursor to asking for something, you devalue the message of that praise. By making praise the sole point of the interaction, you give it greater value, rather than 'cheapening' it.

 * Be specific: A vague complement doesn't mean an awful lot, and it comes across that way. A general "Nice job, everyone" to an entire team means as much as the lack of effort it takes to do it. Instead, giving a brief outline of how each person contributed to the team's success takes more effort, but means much more. The more detail you give people about what they did well, the more it will mean to them.

It's easy to give praise, and it takes barely any time at all, but it can be one of the most powerful tools to motivate people that there is. It's free, and all it costs is that small amount of time, along with a bit of effort and thoughtfulness. Unfortunately, it's one of those things that falls way down the list of priorities, and often isn't given the priority it deserves. We may believe that 'credit where credit is due', but actioning it is another matter. It can help us to develop better relationships, more productive teams and better motivated staff, if we take the time to give them some recognition. Make the effort to acknowledge the achievements of others and you will be repaid in energy, positivity and loyalty.

How To Use Visualization To Make The Law Of Attraction Work For You

What is Visualization?

Most people naturally assume visualization to be the formation of pictures in the mind. One conjures up an image of a beach mansion or a sports car or a   beautiful partner for a spouse and this indeed would be visualization of, perhaps, a desired object or person. And on the face of it, they are not far wrong. After all, most of the everyday objects we see around us, the beautiful buildings, fancy cars, latest fashions, all began life as a picture in someone’s mind.

The Emotional Connection

However, the formation of such pictures in the imagination is not the key to making the Law of Attraction work for anyone engaged in trying to use it to achieve their goals. If that was the case, then blind people, particularly those that have never seen the light of day, would be excluded from taking advantage of this Universal Law to improve their lives.

True visualization, in the context of the Law off Attraction, requires an emotional connection to be made with the object of desire. It is the use of the imagination to conjure up a feeling or change of emotional state in the individual. Whether through the thought or image of that dream house, or the smell of that perfume, or the sound of that piece of music, the visualization should produce an emotion in the person desiring the object. This is the secret to understanding how to make the Law of Attraction work for you.

Why Emotion is Important

A basic fact about the Universe is that it is made of energy or vibrations. In other words,
everything in the Universe is made of vibrations, including us, humans. Because the Universe is made of vibrations, it also responds to vibrations and a fact that most people do not realize is that the Universe is in tune with the vibrations of our emotions, therefore responds to them. This fact is expressed in the Universal Law of Attraction, which states: "We attract whatever we choose to give our attention to - whether wanted or unwanted." Over the years and centuries, this law has come to be known in various guises such as the biblical quote "As a man thinks in his heart, so is he." Proverbs 23:7 and the more colloquial "What goes round comes round."

Therefore, according to the Law of attraction, whatever emotions you give out, be they negative or positive, the Universe will respond in kind.

 Manifesting Abundance

The reason why our emotional energy is connected with the Universe is to do with the
sub-conscious mind and to go deeper into this subject would take us beyond the scope of this article.  Suffice to say, whether you have been trying for some time to use the Law of Attraction, seemingly without success, or you are just beginning to explore the subject, the key to your success lies in engaging your emotions when thinking about whatever you want to achieve in life.
For example, if you want more money, think about how you are going to feel when you have more money. That will change your emotional state and the resulting energy change will put out a call to the Universe for it to respond.

Another important aspect of manifesting whatever we desire is to use affirmations to reinforce the emotional energy. The techniques and use of affirmations is something to be covered another day, suffice to say these also should be approached in the correct manner to be effective.

Finally, once you get into visualization, you should avoid being too impatient, expecting results almost immediately. The laws of nature are so immutable we actually rely on that fact for our daily existence without even thinking about it. Night turns to day, summer turns to fall, and the Earth goes round the Sun without fail. We even trust the reliability of the laws of nature to put men on the moon and calculate their place of landing with remarkable accuracy.

Once you have made the emotional connection through correct visualization, rest assured the Universe will answer your call in its own time.
